Influenster sent us a VoxBox with some fabulous Suave products for us to sample. I’ve been using Suave Humectant Moisturizing conditioner for quite awhile, so I was thrilled to try some of their other products. Here’s what we received in our VoxBox:
The immediate favorite in our house was the Double Dutch Apple Detangling Spray. Both girls end up with lots of tangles (we affectionately say that Templeton, the rat from Charlotte’s Web, has been partying in their hair with all of his cousins). We’ve been using a product by Johnson & Johnson, but the girls didn’t care for the scent and it often left a sticky residue in their hair and the film on the mirror almost had to be chiseled off! Nadya said the Suave worked better and I noticed I didn’t have to spray as much; factor in the price point and it is a win-win for us. Here’s a before shot – perfect bed head!
Here’s an after picture – tangle free, not sticky, and smells great!
In the spirit of conservation, we haven’t used the Suave Men’s Bodywash as we were waiting until the other body wash had been used. I love the scent, so hopefully Y will too – I’m replacing his empty bottle from B&BW tonight. We love B&BW, and though I only shop when there is a sale, the Suave price point is better, so if he likes it, my budget would happily convert.
I am a fan of the Moroccan Shine Mask; my hair is noticeably shinier and smells great, but is too heavy for daily use (the instructions suggest 1-2 uses per week). I’ll continue using the Humectant Moisturizing conditioner for routine use adding the mask once a week or so. Again, the Suave price points and relative ease of finding them (sometimes our WalMart is hit-or-miss on what they are stocking, and Amazon ended the “subscribe and save” for the Humectant line), make them a budget friendly, quality choice.
Until next time – have a great day!
